Tentang Teknik Mesin

Teknik Mesin merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu teknik yang mempelajari tentang penerapan ilmu fisika dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan dengan objek pembahasan utama meliputi tentang prinsip - prinsip gaya (force), energi dan gerak.

Tujuan utama dari mempelajari ilmu teknik mesin adalah untuk menerapakan prinsip prinsip ilmu teknik mesin tersebut dalam pengembangan teknologi terutama dalam analisis, desain, pabrikasi dan perawatan berbagai sistem mekanikal.
